Our Approach

The Mosaic Of Memory

In our day-to-day existence, it is all too easy to get caught up in our own lives and forget to treat each other as fellow human beings.
We believe (as does the Dalai Lama) that little acts of kindness can change the way we experience our world.

"Everything we do has some effect -- even a simple act," the Dali Lama said. "Although it may seem insignificant, when we multiply it by billions of others who might do the same thing, we can have an enormous impact"

In these times, where negativity seems to be the norm, this is our contribution to injecting positively into our lives.
Just by paying attention as you go about your regular routine, you can recognize and acknowledge someone doing something that makes you feel good. That in turn makes them feel good and they pass that on and so on.

Our Story

MOM's List

This started as an idea between two people who were impressed by a young person's service at a fast food place. They really seemed to care about making our experience as pleasant as possible.
We talked about how to recognize and reward them and said there ought to be a place to put their name.
Hence, the idea of "the List" was born. Several years went by and whenever they found someone like this, they would say to one another they would be on the list.
However, life got in the way and nothing ever happened to actually create "the List."
After sharing it with a third person, who did have the time and inclination to bring it to life, here is the beta version of Mom's List.

Please be aware that this is ONLY to recognize people who provide good experiences. There are other places to rant about your not-so-great experiences, this is NOT one of them.

Why do this at all? Because KINDNESS MATTERS!!!

Do you know just how far these ripples of kindness will go? Neither do we, but we thought it would be fun to see.
Come join us and see how MOM's List can make a difference in our communities.

But What Can I Do?

Pay attention as you go about your regular routine, you can recognize and acknowledge someone doing something that makes you feel good.
